Floral Vine

Floral Vine, 2018

Resin, hand-tied flies, metal wire, plaster

60 in x 6 in x 6 in

A vine of white plaster blossoms on metal wire descends to a single resin bulb holding a red fly. It echoes the fabricated white flowers Lopez suspends in his miniature ecosystems.
